I tan deer hides, in the old way. By using the brain of the animal. So when I refer to buckskin in a product, I made this leather. When I scrape my hides I save these scrapings to make deer glue. I use this kinda glue to seal earth paint (different colors the earth gives us! DIRT). I paint my rawhide and gourds that I grow. |
