I tan deer hides, in the old way. By using the brain of the animal. So when I refer to buckskin, in a product I have made this leather.When I’m scraping a hide I save these scrapings to make deer glue. I use this to seal earth paint (different colors the earth gives us,Dirt!). Usually I paint my rawhide.  See Picture on Margo Page!
