Pictures shown here, I didn’t get a picture of flower in bloom, oops! Small bright yellow flower on a long stem, u can see in this 1st photo, once the whole plant is completely gone dead dried up, it’s time to harvest tubers under ground! Wild Food Source! Raw, steamed, baked cooked any way they are GOOD!  They keep for a long time in your refrigerator. I will have enough to plant in the spring, do it all over again! Yummy Yummy!

I have a pond in the center of my garden. I Harvested these Iris’s from the woods, here they grow wild. Just a beautiful site when they begin to bloom and when in full bloom!

6-7-2011 This morning I’m cutting Fresh elephant garlic to dry. I still have so much Garlic in olive oil still from 2 seasons ago so this year I’m drying. Fresh tomatoes and banana peppers  I put in Vinegar

Spring Lettuce 2011

I planted this Asparagus bed back in 1999. Every spring they push their way to get eaten raw! I can’t say I have ever cooked any, I eat them straight from the garden. So Good!

I grew this much Garlic this past year. I peel all of it and put in Olive oil to last me longer. Other wise it seemed to dry up and then I would have to compost it..

Strawberries are doing very well this year. The Plants multiply so much, I have some plants to share.

Cutting fresh peppers to pickle in vinegar. I roasted some tomatoes, and hot packed them for later. You Just can’t beat the flavor.
