Along our streets & in the ditches grows willow. This is a batch I cut this morning. 10/01/03 |

I clean & peel. As I strip the willow of it’s bark I sort into scraps and the long pieces. |

Here are the small bark scraps from peeling. I will make a sun tea and use as a hair rinse, if I had a head ache this would help to drink. |

|
As the luffa grows, it matures. When it turns brown and looks dry, pick before the next rain. You don’t want it to stay on trellis once dry. Peeling is easy. Lots of seeds for next spring. |
