These dolls were born back in 1995. One of my customers call 2 nights before Christmas that year. Her young son wanted a Indian Boy doll, to huge & love. I said to her, give me the rest of the day and I’ll see what I can come up with, with what I had in my workshop. Canvas from patching 16’ lodge, wool, I gather wool from a friend that Sheers sheep at shows I go to & scrap leather & cloth. So I drew out a pattern. Cloth hair, I braid. They are 13” Tall, they all carry a little knife made of lthr on their belts. Girls are wearing leggings over their moccasins. |
